This seasons marks 10 years since we bought our first lithium-ion battery.

Our business began back in 2009 as “Bensen’s Lawn Care” to compliment the ski season, when the grass stopped growing we would go work the lifts in Colorado. Nowadays we stick around all winter, but still would rather play in the snow than remove any. Some of the other services we don’t do are irrigation, hardscaping, and spray.

We have always been early adopters of electric equipment. Stihl is a trusted brand of hand tools, once they developed a battery system we were on board, we got the first piece battery powered they put out almost a decade ago. Mean Green Mowers, built in Ohio, have proven themselves for more than a decade – so we have one of their fully electric commercial Walk-Behind mowers in 2018. And now Gravely leading the way and whenever a new EV model comes out, our fleet grows by one unit.

We are a Chemical-Free operation. We apply a natural bio-sourced fertilizer and pre-emergent made and intend to be known throughout the region as providing a proven alternative to risky chemical treatments.
